• Content: notes and tags you create. Content is end-to-end encrypted on supported clients; we cannot read encrypted content.
• Usage data: device type, operating system, and aggregate sync metrics used to operate the service.

We use the information above to provide, maintain, and improve the service, to communicate with you about your account, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Deleted notes are purged from our servers within 30 days. You can export or delete your data at any time from account settings.

Third-party services

We use reputable infrastructure and analytics providers to operate the service. These providers process data on our behalf under written agreements and are not permitted to use it for other purposes.
